What our fellows are trained in.
Boundless Fellows are graduate clinicians (LMSW or MHC-LP track) working inside a high-support training clinic — meaning they’re closely supervised and supported by team consultation.
Fellows are trained in a trauma-informed, relational approach that may draw from:
-
Nervous system–informed care (polyvagal + somatic + yoga-informed practices)
-
Parts work + attachment-based therapy (IFS-informed)
-
Practical skills from ACT and DBT
-
EMDR-informed trauma support, with EMDR-trained supervisors guiding the work
In plain terms: you’re not doing therapy alone with one person — your care is held inside a well-supported clinical container.
Frequently asked questions
01
Do you take insurance?
We don’t. The Fellowship Clinic is private pay and fixed at $70.
02
Why is the rate lower?
Because this is our training clinic. You’ll work with a Boundless Fellow (a graduate clinician) who’s learning inside a highly supported program — with weekly supervision and ongoing team consultation behind the scenes. It’s a way to make our work more accessible while keeping the care thoughtful and well-held.
03
Can I meet biweekly?
For the Fellowship Clinic, we meet weekly. That consistency is what helps the work go deeper and actually stick.
04
Can I switch to a fully licensed clinician later?
Yes — if you ever want to transition to a fully licensed Boundless therapist, we’ll talk through options based on availability and fit.
05
What approaches do Fellows use?
Our Fellows are trained in a relational, trauma-informed style of therapy — meaning we’ll pay attention to patterns, nervous system responses, and the story underneath the symptoms, not just quick fixes. Depending on your needs, the work may draw from: - ACT and values-based change - DBT-informed coping and emotion regulation skills - IFS-informed parts work - Polyvagal / nervous system support - Somatic and yoga-informed practices - EMDR-informed trauma work, supported by EMDR-trained supervisors
