HOW I WORK
Honoring the Messy Middle
I believe that change is possible—even when the path forward feels uncertain. When life feels heavy, unclear, or overwhelming, it can be hard to access your sense of direction or stay connected to yourself. Maybe you’re navigating grief, estrangement, identity questions, or a rupture in a relationship that’s left you feeling unmoored. Maybe you’re a creative, artist, or musician facing blocks, or a first-generation adult quietly unraveling under the weight of expectation, chronic illness, or caregiving.
You don’t have to hold it all alone. I believe you hold the answers within you—and my role is to help you reconnect to them, gently and meaningfully.
Therapy Rooted in Identity & Care
I specialize in supporting adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, culturally Muslim people, and members of South Asian and first-generation communities as they navigate trauma, grief, family disconnection, and questions of selfhood. With a background as both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Nurse, I integrate Attachment-Focused EMDR, somatic regulation strategies, ACT, contemplative tools, and present-moment practices to support your healing in layered and trauma-informed ways.
Integrative, Relational, and Reflective
I’m a relational and integrative therapist who honors the complexity of your experiences—without rushing or reducing them. Our work may include moments of reflection, metaphor, and creative exploration. I don’t believe healing is about fixing what’s broken—it’s about remembering your wholeness, even when life feels unclear. Together, we’ll examine how the systems around you shape your inner world, and how you might move through life with more intention, agency, and ease.
Flexible, Values-Driven, and Playful When Needed
My approach is flexible and values-driven. I draw on existential and narrative perspectives, and sometimes incorporate humor, art, or metaphor to support insight and resilience. If you’re looking for a space that welcomes your full self—messy, thoughtful, questioning—I offer a free 15-minute consult to see if we’re the right fit. It would be an honor to walk with you.
