About Boundless Therapy
Boundless Therapy is a culturally responsive psychotherapy practice serving adults, teens, couples and families in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, California and Florida.

Our therapists work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, relationship concerns, family dynamics, identity, life transitions, burnout and other emotional and interpersonal challenges. Our clinical approaches include CBT, IFS, DBT, EMDR and somatic therapies, depending on the therapist and the client’s needs.
Boundless has particular expertise in South Asian & immigrant mental health and in working with clients whose experiences are shaped by culture, immigration, race, sexuality, family expectations and multiple or intersecting identities. We also work with clients from a wide range of racial, LGBTQIA+, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and do not exclusively serve South Asian clients.
Our approach is relational, trauma-informed and individualized. Rather than treating culture or identity as an afterthought, our therapists consider the broader context of a client’s relationships, family system, community, identity and lived experience as part of the therapeutic work.

Therapeutic Approaches
Boundless therapists draw from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. The specific methods used depend on the therapist, the client’s goals and what feels most clinically appropriate.
Approaches available across the practice include:
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for understanding and shifting patterns in thoughts, behaviors and coping.
-
IFS-informed therapy for exploring different parts of the self, internal conflict and patterns shaped by past experiences.
-
DBT and DBT-informed therapy for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness.
-
EMDR therapy for trauma and distressing experiences with clinicians who are appropriately trained and certified to provide it.
-
Somatic approaches that incorporate awareness of the body, nervous system and physical responses to stress and trauma.
-
Relational and attachment-based therapy for understanding patterns that emerge in relationships, intimacy and connection.
Boundless does not use a one-size-fits-all treatment model, and not every therapist provides every modality. Clients looking for a specific approach should review individual therapist profiles or contact the practice for help identifying an appropriate match.

Fees, Insurance & Lower-Cost Options
Boundless Therapy is primarily an out-of-network psychotherapy practice. Session fees vary by clinician and service, and current rates are listed on the Boundless Fees & Insurance page. Clients with out-of-network benefits or PPO plans may be eligible for reimbursement from their insurance plan. Boundless can help verify benefits and submit out-of-network claims on clients’ behalf.
Aetna: Some Boundless clinicians and services are in-network with Aetna. The Boundless Fellowship Clinic includes Aetna in-network options, and the DBT Skills Group accepts Aetna. Insurance participation and therapist availability can change, so clients should confirm current coverage before beginning treatment.
For clients seeking lower-cost care in NY, NJ, MA, or CA, the Boundless Fellowship Clinic offers individual therapy starting at $70 per session with supervised psychotherapy fellows. A limited number of sliding-scale appointments may also be available depending on the clinician.
How to Start Therapy
New clients can begin by scheduling a free 25-minute consultation with a Boundless therapist. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss what is bringing you to therapy, ask questions and determine whether the therapist may be a good fit.
Clients can:
-
Review the Boundless Therapy team and individual therapist profiles
-
Schedule a free consultation directly through the therapist’s booking calendar
-
Contact Boundless for help identifying a therapist based on clinical needs, location, availability, insurance or preferred therapeutic approach
Therapist availability varies, so the booking calendar and individual therapist profiles should be used for the most current information.
